Cimorelli Concert in MALIBU

I am so sorry that I have not posted in a few weeks but the girls have not really let out any big news... Until now. In their recent video Cimorelli announced their FREE Concert in Malibu on May 5th.

The benefit concert is for the Carver family who unfortunately lost a loving father and husband two months ago. This convert was a amazing idea thought of by Katherine Cimorelli. She witnessed Ron Carver get hit by a drunk driver when her car broke down. This story must be incredibly hard for Katherine to retell and must not be nice memory.

The girls concert if free but donations are accepted. I think the girls will make a huge sum of money and it is great that the total is going to such a great cause. I have never seen anything so kind before but Cimorelli always try to get the best for everyone.

Although many fans of Cimorelli wont be able to attend they give everyone the chance to donate on-line via paypal.

Sorry that this has been a short blog. If you would like to donate to the cause then you can donate through this link:

I wish the girls luck at their benefit concert and I send my blessing to the Carver family.

Cover Review - 'Heart Attack'

Recently Cimorelli uploaded their latest cover video which happened to be 'Heart Attack' originally sung by Demi Lovato, the cover was recorded in front of a plain white wall which is where most of their covers are filmed. As usual Amy played guitar during the song which added tone rather than the girls just snapping their fingers.

As per usual the girls harmonise almost perfectly throughout the whole song, I think it helps the fact they are all sisters an have been practising since a young age. The girls all have their own solo verse which lets them show of their individuality. Their timing was great throughout the whole video, almost like it had taken a few tries, which we know it did.

Although their harmonies where almost perfect and they had their own solo I do think that to improve the strength of the video all six girls should have more than a few lines singing together. Singing together as one group shows their audience what they can really do and can impress a lot of people. Other than that I found the video fun to watch and I didn't get bored half way through and turn off.

I feel that outfits are a key in cover videos, because the song isn't originally theirs so it doesn't relate to them but their outfits can indicate their individuality. Christina, dressed in casual green top and a plain black skirt, shows her leadership as she wants to look like the mature one. Katherine dressed in a floral vest top shows her feminine side, unfortunately I cannot see Katherines bottoms through the video. Lisa, dressed in what looks like a leopard dress, shows of the fact she wants to be unique. Amys outfit is covered by her guitar but from what I can see she is dressed in a sort of 'tom boy' vest top. Lauren also tries to be unique by wearing a black and white chequered top underneath a blue jumper covered with crystals. Dani, dressed in a black top and a pink puffy skirt, shows her childish side.

At the end of the video Katherine explains how she was involved in a horrific accident when her car broke down at the side of the road. I think that the benefit concert  is a great idea to raise money for the family who unfortunately lost their husband/ father. I myself will be donating to the cause even though I cannot be at the actual concert.

I hope you have enjoyed my first blog and there will be many more to come in the future.
