Cimorelli Hearts on Fire - Music Video Review

OH MY HOLY JESUS SWEET LORD OF CHEESE, I have no words for the music video that i have just watched! After a week of my not really keeping up with the Cimorelli Pledge stuff, the one day that I do check it, the Hearts on Fire music video is up and live for everyone who has pre-ordered the album the watch! How lucky!

I don't think that  a Cimorelli video has EVER made me feel that way before, within the first 20 seconds the hairs stood up all over my body and I was practically shaking. Now I am still a huge fan of Cimorelli but haven't seen myself as a 'super fan' for a while because I have been useless at keeping up with their every day activities. But the feelings that I felt last night when watching this video made me feel like a super fan once again and I think pulled me back into the fandom once again.

I have not felt that way about a Cimorelli video in a good amount of time and I am glad that I felt that way because it gave me the little push that I needed.

This is definitely one of the most professional music videos that Cimorelli have ever created and should definitely grab the attention of those who are not already fans!

The effects used on certain clips of the video to give it the vintage look worked very well with theme of both the music video and the actual song. Throughout the video, each girl has their own little scenario and throughout each scenario you can see the genuine emotion that has been put into the song and the music video, like they haven't filmed section not knowing what they where doing, it has been well thought through to suite each individual girl.

I feel like this video is really starting to show each individual girl come out of their shell and that they don't have to be seen as a 'band'. For example, in the That Girl Should Be Me music video, the clothing style for the video was kind of bohemian and chilled. I think that suited some of the girls more girls that others. Also in the TGSBM the each girl was kind of given a scenario that didn't really fit their personality and just seemed random.

Where as in the HOF music video, each girl has their own style that is suited to them, for example, Lauren is dressed as more of a skater girl, Amy is a mix between a floral and skate style and Katherine has plain boho clothing on. It has allowed to show the girls who they are and they can stand out themselves so the band are not seen as just Cimorelli, they are 6 unique sisters.

Watching the video instead of just listening to the song on an music device gives the song a more powerful meaning and you can see the amount of emotion that is being put across in the song. I had listened to the song previously when the studio version was first released but I saw it a different way when watching the video.

Overall I personally have nothing bad to say about the video, it genuinely made me so happy and I have watching it a lot since it was released.

Now you can only see the music video if you have pre-ordered Cimorellis new album Up At Night, or if you have bought any of the packages or merchandise on Pledge Music. You can do this here:

I cannot confirm if this will be available on YouTube at any point in the future, it may be done when Up At Night has been released and Cimorelli might put it onto their Vevo, but I cannot confirm anything as this was just a guess.

Lauren Cimorelli: Fashion Inspiration / Outfits Ideas

Seeing as Lauren Cimorelli's St Patricks Day Outfit's blog post has been one of my all time most popular posts, I thought it would only be fair if I posted about Laurens latest video, Fashion Inspiration / Outfit Ideas. The range of outfits shown in this video really range in style, therefor meaning anyone can take the outfits shown. The outfits can also be switched up and mixed with different items from the other outfits.

Outfit number one:

This outfit is the most casual out of the 4 that are show, and can be worn for just handing out with friends or even going to a football game!

Shoes: Black High Top Converse
Socks: Forever 21
Shorts: Brandy Melville
Top: Forever 21
Necklaces: Forever 21

I feel like this outfit is my favourite as the style suits me more, than a lot of the other's do!

Outfit number two:

The second outfit shown is for more of the warmer days as Lauren shows jeans and a long sleeved top, it could be perfect for the cooler spring days!

Shoes: Charlotte Russe
Jeans: Forever 21
Belt: Taken from a Cimorelli Sister
Shirt: Brandy Melville
Necklaces: Forever 21

This style is a more vintage one as it has the boyfriend jeans with the timberlands, as much as I adore this outfit it is not one that I would wear myself!

Outfit number three:

The third outfit is more girly / cheerleader looking, not that you have to be a cheerleader to wear the outfit, but it could be perfect for the warmer spring days!

Shoes: Skate High Vans
Skirt: Forever 21
Belt: Stole from a Cimorelli Sister
Top: Urban Outfitters
Necklaces: Forever 21

This is a really cute outfit that I would definitely wear on a warmer day, although it can be changed for cooler days by adding tights and a jacket.

Outfit number four:

This last outfit is more of a skater, chilled outfit that can be worn when just doing small jobs like shopping etc.

Shoes: Nike Airforce 1 Mid Top
Jeans: Urban Outfitters
Belt: Stolen from a Cimorelli Sister
Top: Urban Outfitters
Flannel: Thrift Store
Necklaces: Forever 21
Hat: Target

Again this is another outfit I would wear on just a casual day when I have loads of things to do but I have to go out I
public!

So I hope you enjoyed this blog post, and you can watch the original video posted by Lauren here:
