Counting Stars - Cover Review

Finally after a long wait Cimorelli have uploaded a new cover of the popular song 'Counting Stars'. Again I was not a fan of this song and never really listened to this song on repeat. But this cover made me love and enjoy the song a lot more that I did.

When the song started I thought that this would just be a normal cover as usual but I was pleased to see that the only instrument used was the drums. This way they could show their talent and what they could do with there vocals and I think the did that very well. Normally when Cimorelli upload a new cover I feel that they don't have enough lyrics sung together. But this cover I feel they had just the right amount of parts sung on their own and together.

Each individual girl has just the right tone of voice to make this cover the best it could be. Some stronger than other but that doesn't mean they are a better singer at all. Each part looked as if it was given specifically for their voice. Also you can see that they have recorded their vocals with great care, the fact that there has been no auto tune or editing to their voices shows the time and care that has gone into making this video amazing.

One of my all time favourite parts to this cover has to be the small part where they continuously sing 'take that money watch it burn' and it starts with Dani then slowly adds the other sisters. I think that this part really does show that without each other they would not be as powerful. You can hear each individuals voice and it shows their true talent.

I feel that the recording in a simple location with not much editing needed really allows you to just sit back and enjoy the amazing vocals. This shows how much these girls have grown over the past years since their first upload in 2008. They have become so much more confident in themselves with their voices and personality.

I really do not have any faults on this cover, Christina, Katherine, Lisa, Amy, Lauren, Dani... Well done. This  cover is just truly amazing. I would also like to thank @CimorelliFan115 who provided me with photos only minutes after the video was uploaded.
