Thank You

The last time I uploaded a blog post was in April, that was 4 months ago. I know that for a while now I have been putting off writing and uploading blogs and sometimes I would be really productive and sometimes I wouldn't. I went into 2017 with a new vision, wanting to transform my blog into this incredible Cimorelli Blog that any reader could get al lthe information they needed about Cimorelli from. I wanted to uplaod regularly and really build my online status for both the girls and the fans.

As you can see, that definitely hasn't happened. And I am not going to sugar coat anything, because I have been lazy and sloppy, I have put my social life first and I would not change the past 6 months of my life in the slightest way.

For the first time in my life, I am naturally happy, I don't feel like I have to force a smile in order to be a part of a group. I don't find myself mulling around at social occasions counting down the minutes until I could go home. I cannot remember the last time I wanted to cry because my mind was playing with my and making me feel like the world was against me. And it has been amazing.

I have a small social group who I am continuously going out with, experiencing new things, going on holiday, and they are just the biggest pleasure to be around. I have accepted myself and who I am and used that to my abilities to make myself the best person I can be.

This blog was something that I started around the time of my parents divorce and it was something that I could escape to and release all the passion and love that I have into a band that I truly aspire to be like. I spent hours and hours on Twitter, making friends and tweeting the girls because I stuggled to talk to people in person so talking behind a screen made everything better.

This blog, and the CimFam fandom on Twitter has helped me a lot over the past 5-6 years and I have made some friends that I will have for life. I have some of the best expeirecnes and became closer to my all time favourite band. Twitter was a great help in giving me a place to be myself without feeling judged by people I knew, without that place I feel like I would have exploded.

But the past 6 months, my use of Twitter was very low and I lost connections with a lot of fans who I use to talk to a lot. Over the past few weeks I realised that I haven't been on Twitter much or uploading blogs a lot because I am getting to a point where I am happy with my life and I don't need the internet to do that.

I am still going to be a huge Cimorelli fan and I will still be spending on their merchendise, music, tours, and franticly watching their YouTube videos, but I will not be on Twitter as much and as for this blog, I would be lying if I said that I would be coming back to it in the future. If one day I decide to write about Cimorelli again the I will be straight back here, but this isn't a big priority.

I will still continue my writing in different ways as this is something that is my passion.

I was to thank EVERY SINGLE PERSON that has ever read my blog, given me positive feedback because you have all been a huge help in the change and growth of myself as a person. I also want to say a huge thank you to Cimorelli who have helped me in ways they cannot even imagine, with their music, their inspiring words and their welcoming personalities. They helped me through the darkets places and I don't think there will ever come a day were there music will not make me emitonal.

The past 4 years of my life have been a rollercoaster, and I am happy to say that I am quickly working my way up to the top, and you guys were a massive help with that. Thank you CimFam and Cimorelli.

Cimorelli Flirting Tips

Last week on Cimorelli app, the six sisters focused on flirting tips. Which is easier said than done, for some of the sisters such as Lisa and Dani, they are confident around flirting and are not afraid to speak their mind, however Kath and Amy are more anti flirting and do not flirt with people they may like.

The following tips are for if you don't know the person that you want to flirt with.

 - Make eye contact, do a cute smile and look down
 - If they smile back continue, but not for too long or too many times
 - If that person want's to talk to you then it will happen
 - Bring up something that has to do with where you are

The rest of the tips below are for if you already know the person that you want to flirt with.

 - Light touches to the shoulder or the elbow
 - Own your thing, play to your strengths
 - Say extra cute things, even if you're scared
 - Be nice, be yourself, be confident, be authentic

Cimorelli: Now Or Never - Halsey Cover Reivew

It's #CimorelliSaturday again and this weeks video was a cover of Halseys Now Or Never. See I am not sure on what I think about Halseys music, some songs I love, others I am not too sure on, and this is one of those songs that I am not 100% sure on. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad song, but it's different.

Cimorelli : Now Or Never - Halsey Review

It's #CimorelliSaturday again and this weeks video was a cover of Halseys Now Or Never. See I am not sure on what I think about Halseys music, some songs I love, others I am not too sure on, and this is one of those songs that I am not 100% sure on. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad song, but it's different.

The music video for this was filmed professionally which I like that Cimorelli do occasionally because it adds something different to their channel, and the way that this was filmed reminds me a lot of the Wrecking Ball cover, which was filmed over 3 years ago now!!

I like that the in the video they incorporated instruments, it allowed them to get more into the song as they filmed, even those who weren't playing an instrument. This wasn't just like a band putting instruments into their videos to make it look like they produce their own music, this actually showed that the girl know what they're doing when it comes to music. The close up shots of Lauren and Dani playing the keyboard show them hitting the right keys at the right time with no hesitation.

Although this is the way that the song is, I feel like the first verse with Christina 'singing' doesn't allow her to show of her true voice, as this is just speaking quicker than normal meaning that people don't get to hear her vocals as well. This I do feel like is done throughout the song with multiple of the girls, but mainly at the beginning with Christina.

I also feel like there is too much camera movement, the video is kept very basic with the simple plain colours and background, but the movement makes me slightly dizzy when watching the video and I feel like my eyes have to continuously adjust  to the scene instead of being able to focus what matters most and that is Cimorelli.

I love that Cimorellis covers always keep me up to date with the latest music, whether I like the song or not. As I don't listen to the radio or keep up with the new songs out there, my only source of being up to date is through my favourite band!

I really enjoyed this cover, but it isn't going to be one that I watch repeatedly, unless I get use to the song (which I doubt I will).
