Cimorelli - Tour Interview

In March 2015 the world famous Cimorelli will be touring Europe going to many different countries including, Spain, Germany, Portugal and the UK! Tickets have become very popular globally and many fans are reaching out to the girls for them to visit their country. The tour brings excitement as it is set to start on the 28th February in Braga, Portugal and finishing on the 22nd March in Berlin, Germany.

I had the incredible chance to interview Cimorelli about their upcoming tour and as well as asking my own questions I also took some questions from some of the CimFam on Twitter. Here is what the girls said.

How does it feel to visit so many new places and meet thousands of new fans?

It’s such an incredible experience. We love traveling and seeing so many new places! Plus our fans are just genuinely really nice and cool people, so to meet them in person is just such a gift. We consider them to be like our siblings, so it just feels like one big family!

What song are you most excited to perform and why?

We have a ton of new original music coming out this year. We’ve been writing a bunch of very personal, raw, emotional songs the last few years, and we can’t wait to get it out to the fans. Our hope is that it will inspire people to express themselves and think deeply about life and what is really important. 

How will you deal with all the travelling and time differences?

It can be really hard! But what we’ve learned is to take really good care of our bodies. We are really good about exercising, eating healthy foods, drinking a lot of water, and going to bed early after shows. That way, we can keep our stamina up. 

Which stop on tour are you most excited to visit and why?

We are really excited about every stop, because meeting our fans is the most amazing thing! But we went to Madrid last fall and the fans there were just so passionate and energetic; it really inspired us. So I think we are all really excited about going back to Spain!

You will be away from your brothers for a long time, how will you deal with that?

Oh man. This is the hardest part of touring by far. We miss our brothers SO MUCH when we’re gone- it’s really, really hard. We FaceTime them and call them and try to keep in touch with them as best as possible. 

How does it feel finally meeting the fans that have supported you for years but you only know them through a Twitter name?

It’s indescribably cool!! We are so lucky to have some of the most supportive, loving and kind fans. We are blown away by how many amazing people listen to our music and watch our videos!

What are you most excited about on the whole tour?

We are excited to perform our new songs and see how the fans react!! We can’t wait to surprise them with brand new songs and just see their faces!
