Cimorelli - Best Day Of My Life - Cover Review

Finally, after a long wait of over a month Cimorelli upload a cover! We cannot complain though, I mean we did get two covers in the same day! I feel as if I have no blogged in so long but I feel that uploading a random post just to fill a hole is pointless, I wanted to wait until a cover was uploaded to put up a post and now I have the joys of writing two blog posts!!

So, The Best Day Of My Life... None of us expected this, well I didn't anyway. We all knew about the Happy Cover because of their sneaky little hint on Facebook. But this was a complete unexpected cover for me. No honestly I had not heard the full song until today. The song had been used in multiple adverts but I never really clicked onto the song until today.

The wait was long but it was completely worth it because I have to say, the cover was AMAZING! Really up beat and fun and the collaboration with Tyler Ward has to be one of my favourites. I mean yes the collaborations that have been done in the past have been fun like the Gangnam Style with Matty B but I think this one was really mature and sounded amazing too.

The lyrics went great with each girls personality and the video was just so fun and up beat. As usual the girls perform to their musical side but also their fun side where they like to have fun and not let anything bother them and get in their way.

This song will definitely be one of my summer songs that I will replay constantly as well as their other cover of Happy. It's just one of them songs that you want to boogie to no matter where you are!

As many of you know Cimorelli will be appearing at Digi Fest UK, Digi Fest NYC and Digi Fest Toronto but unfortunately I do not have VIP tickets, I have tried to win them on various occasions and still not won any. I was really looking forward to blogging about my UK VIP experience but I will just have to hope that they return next year!

Cimorelli - Meet My Pet Tag

While we are all waiting for the girls next cover they uploaded the My Pet Tag in order to keep us happy while their cover is produced!! Everyone knows that the girls have a cat but we never knew as much as we would ha
ve wanted to know. Yes it is only a cat but its part of their lives and who doesnt want to know about cimorelli?

We found that the cat was called Lightening, and it was one of the sons of their previous cat so they have known the cat all its life which I think is sweet and gives them a great bond. As well as this we found some of the hobbies that this cat has, including sitting on the roof of at any high places, as well that he loved to curl up in empty boxes and shopping bags.

I really enjoyed getting to know the cat, because I am a massive animal lover myself. But one thing I did not like about the video was the whole animated character throughout. I enjoy just the natural videos and would have enjoyed seeing them play with the cat a lot more. I also found the cartoon character a bit cheesy, it would never stop me from watching a video but I didnt enjoy it as much as I would have without the cartoon.

At the end of the video the girls asked what animal you preferred more; cat or dog? Mine personally is a dog but I still do love cats I just think that dogs are a lot more playful. Let me know what animal you prefer either by:

My Story

If you have came to this blog through a link on my Twitter account then you know that I haven't had the best of times the past few years, and if you didn't know that then let me tell you now, it has been very tough. Yes GCSE exams are stressful but it doesn't help when you are forced to move away from your mother.

This is going to be my story, how Cimorelli helped me get through my more harder time and how they saved my life. If you are not interested and I understand if you are not then do click away now,  I wont be offended but this is something I want to share with other members of the #CimFam.

Just under 3 years ago now my parents divorced, I was just starting my GCSE's in High School and the news was a completed shock. I was 13 years of age and as every child thinks, I thought my parents would be together forever. This was around the time that I started listening to Cimorelli. Their music helped me through a lot.

I have been incredibly close to my father throughout my life and the day he moved out killed me. I became withdrawn in school, I couldn't sit through lessons without bursting into tears. It was something that no one should ever experience. My mum became so angry with my dad she would take he anger out on me and my younger sister, always shouting being horrible and sarcastic.

This went on for a year until my mum found out that my Dad had a new partner, this filled her with hate and anger. I couldn't even start to understand how she felt and tried to comfort her as much as I could but it did not work. Throughout the year I had become a bigger and bigger fan of Cimorelli and made my fan account on Twitter. It allowed me to speak to people who I had something in common with and it was something to escape from the reality of my life.

During my GCSE Exams in summer 2013 a lot went on money wise with my father and I had to choose to move in with my father. This was a choice I didn't want to make, not because I didn't love my dad but because I would leave my mum and sister behind. During my time of living with my dad I would see my mum twice a week and stay over one night.

Cimorelli always tweeted telling their fans to never give up and how much their fans meant to them. This made me smile knowing that I meant something to at least someone in the world.

Throughout the month my Twitter account became bugger and bigger making me feel like I had some worth in the world. But when things started to go worse like my mother telling me she doesn't want to see me no more and my own Nan and Granddad disowning me even to this day, I gave up. I felt useless. Unneeded. No one cared about me so what did I have to loose. I was worth nothing in this world.

I spent hours and hours crying alone because of everything that had happened and one day I just stopped. I gave up. But I left with just my phone in my hand. I ran, I didn't stop. When suddenly my phone started to ring.

At that time my ringtone was Wings, the chorus. I just stopped and realised that what I was about to do was not going to make anything better and just fell to a heap on the floor. From that moment on, I have always listened to what the girls have said and realised that I am important in this world and nothing is going to change that.

Cimorelli have made me so much stronger and made me become more confident around other people. If it was not for them, their inspiration tweets, humour and their music I would not be here today and I don't think they realise how much of an impact they have made on my life over the past 3 years.

It has taken a lot of confidence to write this Blog so please no hate if you do not like it, there is a lot more detail that goes into it but some of it was to hard

Cimorelli - DigiFest

So just three days ago the wonderful Cimorelli announced that they where making special appearances at three DigiFest shows! This was major news, especially for the UK fans because for the first time ever Cimorelli will be performing in the UK at the DigiFest that will be held! As well as performing in the UK the girls will be making appearances at New York City and Toronto!

Who knows that Cimorelli will gain from these appearances! But unfortunately I will never be able to see the girls perform in the UK because of the travel distance! I just have to hope that if the girls ever tour the world that they perform closer to my home town! If anyone knows of any competitions that DigiFest are holding then please let me know! Thank you!
