Cimorelli - The Truth Is

Christina:
"We like to pretend we have it all figured out.
We like to pretend we have any idea what is going on.
But the truth is... We don't.

The truth is, your stomach twisted into an anxious mess when he asks you to make it offical.
Your heart dropped when you showed he that very personal song you wrote.
And all she said was 'hmm'"

Amy:
"The truth is, you spent two years waiting for your best friend to move to your new town.
Only to have her act as though your seven year friendship never even existed."

Dani:
"The truth is, you broke down in the bathroom at the Ohad Pumpkin Patch when you found out you weren't the only one he called on those October nights."

Kath:
"The truth is, you never say it out loud, but you can't shake the fear that she will never live up to your older sister.
We want to pretend that out lives are perfect, so we don't say these things out loud.
Life it not all good, but it's not all bad either."

Lisa:
"If you look, it's actually impossible to miss all the magical, exciting, heart filling, breathtaking moments in life.
We can't forget that every once in a while a heart comes along that paints out skies bright again and makes us feel new.
Healing the scars we have collected along the way."

Lauren:
"We can't discount the times we have put out hands up to the sky, head thrown back, a deep sense of joy  radiating within us.
The smell of fresh cut grass in the summer, fading lights falling out of kitchen windows.
When the stars lit up that small town, somehow you never  noticed how bright they were before.
The times when someone see's something in you, you never saw in yourself."

Amy:
"These moments of magic are all around you.
Just open your eyes, you'll see."

Cimorelli: Good Enough Music Video Reivew
Wednesday 3rd August 2016
I have never really been a big cryer when it comes to media, (apart from when Poussey dies in Orange Is the New Black, or when Gus told Hazel that he had Cancer in the Fault In Our Stars, or when the Tsunami his in The Impossible), a media product has to really get to me before I even think about shedding a tear. This can be through good editing, the music used or the storyline. But in Cimorellis latest music video I cried for none of the reasons stated above. The reason I cried whilst watching this music video was because the song, and video is a really tough experience that I went through a few years ago. So as you can imagine, I balled my eyes out....
